RO: Arhitect prin formație, Kázmér Kovács este profesor la școala de peisagistică a Universității Sapientia din Târgu Mureș. Domeniul său este teoria generală a arhitecturii, cu accent pe teoria patrimoniului construit și pe teoria grădinilor și peisajului. Kovács este autorul a două cărți: Peisaj cu grădină și casă, Simetria, București, 2011, și Timpul monumentului istoric, Paideia, București, 2003. A mai publicat un număr de articole în diverse periodice din România și din străinătate, contribuții la volume cu colectiv de autori, precum și traduceri din scrierile lui Françoise Choay și Joseph Rykwert.

Pe lângă activitatea universitară Kázmér Kovács are o practică arhitecturală în asociere cu prieteni profesionali, atât la București, cât și la Sf. Gheorghe. (Transilvania). Lucrările sale se adresează unui spectru extins de programe, de la amenajare urbană la proiecte de clădiri, și de la restaurare la arhitectură peisajeră.

EN: An architect by formation, Kázmér Kovács is full time professor at the Târgu Mureș school of landscape architecture. His field is a general theory of architecture, with emphasis on the theory of the built heritage and on the theory of landscape and garden design. Kovács authored two books: Peisaj cu grădină și casă [Landscape with Garden and House], Simetria, Bucharest, 2011, and Timpul monumentului istoric [The Time of the Historical Monument], Paideia, Bucharest, 2003. He has also published a number of papers in various periodicals in Romania and abroad, contributions to books with collective authorship, as well as translations from the writings of Françoise Choay.

Besides being a teacher, Kázmér Kovács conducts a smaller architectural practice in association with professional friends, both in Bucharest and in his town of residence, Sf. Gheorghe (Transylvania). His works address a wide range of planning tasks, from urban development to building design and from restoration to landscape architecture.
