RO\/ <\/strong>Pe 30 octombrie 2024, \u00een Campus Observator din Cluj-Napoca, a fost inaugurat Pavilionul FAST X5, marc\u00e2nd deschiderea celei de-a doua edi\u021bii a Festivalului anual al \u0219colilor de arhitectur\u0103. Spa\u021biul efemer, conceput \u0219i construit colaborativ de studen\u021bi ai celor cinci facult\u0103\u021bi de arhitectur\u0103 din Rom\u00e2nia, a devenit pentru c\u00e2teva zile centrul \u00eent\u00e2lnirilor, dezbaterilor \u0219i experimentelor dedicate viitorului profesiei. Lansarea oficial\u0103 a fost urmat\u0103 de un moment vibrant: concertul trupei METRUCUB, adus\u0103 special din Timi\u0219oara pentru a ad\u0103uga energie serii inaugurale. Atmosfera s-a animat rapid, iar ritmurile celor \u0219ase muzicieni au adus \u00eempreun\u0103 arhitec\u021bi, studen\u021bi, cadre didactice \u0219i invita\u021bi speciali \u00een jurul pavilionului, transform\u00e2nd \u00eenceputul festivalului \u00eentr-o s\u0103rb\u0103toare a comunit\u0103\u021bii.<\/p>\n

\u00cen zilele care au urmat, festivalul a adus laolalt\u0103 workshopuri interdisciplinare, expozi\u021bii ale proiectelor studen\u021be\u0219ti, tururi ghidate, proiec\u021bii \u0219i o serie de discu\u021bii cu invita\u021bi din \u021bar\u0103 \u0219i din str\u0103in\u0103tate. Activit\u0103\u021bile s-au desf\u0103\u0219urat \u00een jurul temei DiverseCity<\/em>, o reflec\u021bie asupra ora\u0219ului ca spa\u021biu comun, marcat de diversitate \u0219i provoc\u0103ri multiple. Pavilionul FAST X5 a func\u021bionat ca un adev\u0103rat catalizator de idei, oferind spa\u021biul fizic \u0219i simbolic \u00een care s-au conturat r\u0103spunsuri \u0219i \u00eentreb\u0103ri despre cum form\u0103m profesioni\u0219ti mai implica\u021bi, mai adapta\u021bi \u0219i mai con\u0219tien\u021bi de rolul lor \u00een societate. Participarea activ\u0103 a studen\u021bilor \u0219i colaborarea direct\u0103 \u00eentre \u0219coli au fost elemente esen\u021biale ale acestei edi\u021bii, consolid\u00e2nd viziunea unui viitor comun pentru arhitectura rom\u00e2neasc\u0103.<\/p>\n

FAST \u2013 Festivalul anual al \u0219colilor de arhitectur\u0103 este un proiect prioritar ini\u021biat de Ordinul Arhitec\u021bilor din Rom\u00e2nia, dezvoltat \u00een parteneriat cu cele cinci \u0219coli de arhitectur\u0103 din \u021bar\u0103 \u0219i co-finan\u021bat din Timbrul arhitecturii. Dup\u0103 debutul s\u0103u \u00een 2023 la Timi\u0219oara, FAST a continuat \u00een 2024 la Cluj-Napoca, cu sprijinul Facult\u0103\u021bii de Arhitectur\u0103 \u0219i Urbanism din cadrul UTCN, \u00een calitate de co-organizator. Festivalul \u00ee\u0219i propune s\u0103 creeze un spa\u021biu colaborativ \u0219i experimental \u00een care studen\u021bii, profesorii \u0219i practicienii s\u0103 poat\u0103 construi \u00eempreun\u0103 direc\u021bii relevante pentru formarea profesional\u0103 \u0219i transformarea mediului construit.<\/p>\n

EN\/\u00a0<\/strong>On October 30th, 2024, the FAST X5\u00a0 \u00a0Pavilion was inaugurated in the Observator Campus in Cluj-Napoca, marking the opening of the second edition of the annual Festival of Architecture Schools. The ephemeral structure, collaboratively designed and built by students from Romania\u2019s five architecture faculties, became the central hub for several days of gatherings, debates, and experiments dedicated to the future of the profession. The official launch was followed by a vibrant moment: a concert by the band METRUCUB, brought especially from Timi\u0219oara to energize the opening night. The atmosphere quickly came to life as the rhythms of the six musicians brought together architects, students, faculty, and special guests around the pavilion, turning the festival\u2019s beginning into a true celebration of the community.<\/p>\n

In the following days, the festival hosted interdisciplinary workshops, student project exhibitions, guided tours, screenings, and a series of discussions with national and international guests. All activities revolved around the theme DiverseCity<\/em>, a reflection on the city as a shared space, shaped by diversity and multiple challenges. The FAST X5 Pavilion acted as a true catalyst for ideas, offering both a physical and symbolic space for raising questions and imagining answers about how to form more engaged, adaptable professionals who are aware of their societal role. Active student involvement and direct collaboration between schools were key elements of this year\u2019s edition, reinforcing the vision of a shared future for Romanian architecture.<\/p>\n

FAST \u2013 the annual Festival of Architecture Schools is a flagship project initiated by the Romanian Order of Architects, developed in partnership with all five architecture schools in the country and co-financed through the Architecture Stamp. After its debut in 2023 in Timi\u0219oara, FAST continued in 2024 in Cluj-Napoca, with the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at UTCN as co-organizer. The festival aims to create a collaborative and experimental space where students, professors, and practitioners can shape meaningful directions for professional education and the transformation of the built environment.<\/p>\n
