RO: ARChA, noul spa\u021biu fanion al Facult\u0103\u021bii de Arhitectur\u0103 \u0219i Urbanism din cadrul Universit\u0103\u021bii Politehnice Timi\u0219oara, s-a n\u0103scut \u00een anul 2023, din convergen\u021ba mai multor viziuni de dezvoltare \u0219i recuperare a patrimoniului construit apar\u021bin\u00e2nd Campusului UPT. Construit\u0103 la finele anilor 1920, sub atenta coordonare a celebrului arhitect Duiliu Marcu, cl\u0103direa Cantinei 2 MV, face parte, al\u0103turi de corpul Facult\u0103\u021bii de Mecanic\u0103 \u0219i de caminul 1 MV, din cel mai reprezentativ \u0219i coerent ansamblu al campusului. Prin recuperarea \u0219i transformarea vechii cantine, ARChA adaug\u0103 un nou capitol istoriei de 100 de ani a campusului \u0219i surprinde \u00een mod manifest noua filozofie a \u0219colii de Arhitectur\u0103 \u0219i Urbanism din Timi\u0219oara. ARChA este, astfel, un loc dedicat \u00een mod programatic intersec\u021biilor de orice fel dintre arhitectur\u0103, art\u0103 \u0219i tehnologie – definindu-se ca epicentru al \u00eent\u00e2lnirii dintre universitate \u0219i clasele creative ale ora\u0219ului. Deloc \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103tor, \u00een cadrul FAST ARChA va g\u0103zdui Expozi\u021bia Sustainable Futures x5, Expozi\u021bia Bright Cityscapes precum \u0219i activarea artistului Dan Perjovschi sau workshop-urile Zeppelin, \u00een timp ce \u00een parcul din imediata vecin\u0103tate ARChA reg\u0103sim Pavilionul FAST \u2013 un ansamblu de instala\u021bii tematice, construite de \u0219colile de arhitectur\u0103 din Rom\u00e2nia cu ocazia festivalului.<\/span>

EN: ARChA, the new flagship space of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban planning within the Polytechnic University of Timi\u0219oara, was born in 2023, from the convergence of several visions on the development and recovery of the built heritage belonging to the UPT Campus.\u00a0 Built at the end of the 1920s, under the <\/span>close coordination of renowned <\/span>architect Duiliu Marcu, Cantina 2 MV, was, together with the Faculty of Mechanics building and the 1 MV dormitory, part of the most representative and coherent ensemble of the campus.\u00a0 By recovering and transforming the old canteen, ARChA adds a new chapter to the 100-year history of the campus and clearly captures the new philosophy of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning in Timi\u0219oara. ARChA is a place programmatically dedicated to intersections of any kind between architecture, art and technology – defining itself as the epicenter of the meeting between the university and the city’s creative classes. Not at all by chance, ARChA is the main festival venue, hosting the Sustainable Futures x5 exhibition, The Bright Cityscapes exhibition, Dan Perjovschi\u2019s activation, and the Zeppelin Workshops.
