The first day of the talks section will highlight prestigious alumni from the five Romanian schools, such as Eliza Yokina (Cumulus Architecture\/ Bucharest), Berlin based, FAUT alumna Oana St\u0103nescu, London based, Iasi alumnus Radu Axinte (Heatherwick Studio), Cluj Napoca alumnus Adrian Pop (ADP), or Oradea alumnus Gabriel Chis Bulea (Vertical Studio). Presentations will focus on the festival theme, by showcasing each speaker’s sustainable transition from their school years towards excellence within the professional practice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

OMA\/AMO’s Reinier de Graaf,\u00a0 the evening’s keynote speaker, will launch his latest book, Architect, Verb. The lecture will be followed by a book signing session.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second day of the talks section will be opened with a keynote speech by Professor Natalie Mossin, Head of the Institute at the Royal Danish Academy and the President of Congress for the UIA World Congress of Architects, 2023, \u201cSustainable Futures \u2013 Leave no one Behind\u201d. This will be followed by a conversation between Madame Mossin and the Deans from Romania and the Euroregion, focused on the intersection between the sustainability goals set by UIA and the pedagogical methodologies needed in countering the speculative growth patterns visible in our part of Europe. After a mid-break, the argument will be further carried through by keynote speeches by Mass Design Group’s\u00a0 senior principal, Christian Benimana and by Shanghai based architect Lyndon Neri (founder of Neri &Hu).<\/span><\/p>\n
